Scoliosis Management & ScoliBrace in Winnipeg

Scoliosis care isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it isn’t something we can manage with a single tool. At Lindenwoods Chiropractic, Chiropractor Dr. Pascal Breton builds a plan around the whole picture: the curve, the muscles supporting it, and how both are expected to change over time.

A Complete Plan, Not Just One Piece

Scoliosis management may involve more than one approach: custom bracing, targeted exercise, and ongoing monitoring, so patients get a well-rounded plan rather than just one piece of it. That combination lets care keep pace with a curve as it responds, rather than applying the same fix and hoping it holds.

An Advanced Level of Certification

Dr. Pascal holds certification in scoliosis-specific care, including fitting patients with custom ScoliBrace bracing, a credential held by very few chiropractors across Canada. His additional training informs how he assesses spinal curves and develops individual management plans for patients with scoliosis.

What a Scoliosis Plan Looks Like Here

For patients who need it, Dr. Pascal fits custom 3D scoliosis braces built around each patient’s own curve pattern. Unlike older, generic bracing designs, ScoliBrace uses 3D scanning technology to create a brace based on the individual’s body shape and curve pattern. Bracing alone isn’t the whole picture, so Dr. Pascal may also incorporate ScoliBalance, a scoliosis-specific exercise approach that uses exercises selected according to the patient’s curve pattern and individual needs.
Because scoliosis can change over time, especially in growing children and adolescents, care doesn’t stop once a brace is fitted or an exercise plan is set. Dr. Pascal follows up with regular imaging and progress checks. Regular follow-ups allow the plan to be reviewed and adjusted based on the patient’s progress.

Who This Is For

Dr. Pascal works with a wide range of patients, and care is built around each person’s age, curve severity, and goals rather than a standard protocol applied across the board.

  • Children and adolescents with scoliosis
  • Adults with scoliosis
  • Patients with hyperkyphosis
  • Other spinal curve conditions

See Whether a Scoliosis Assessment is the Next Step

If a curve has been flagged at a check-up, or you’ve noticed posture changes that concern you or your child, an assessment with Dr. Pascal can provide more information about the curve and help determine what management options may be considered.
