Our Chiropractic Techniques

At Lindenwoods Chiropractic our goal is to help you feel better and stay better. We offer the following techniques and services to help accomplish this goal.

SkeletonChiropractic BioPhysics®

Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP) is a technique that emphasizes optimal postural and spinal alignment, and how a bad spine affects the body. There’s research that Chiropractic BioPhysics has done about what a bad neck or a bad spine does to the body. The research also shows what happens when you start to change and correct the spine back to its normal curves and the effect that has on function. For Dr. Dan, CBP is the clearest way to help a person get better. Read more>>

Adjustments

The first adjustment is used to start to change and correct your spine. Different types of adjustments are used depending on the patient:

Instrument adjustment. We use the Arthrostim Adjusting Instrument as well as our hands. We usually start with a small adjustment to get the body to start to function and heal better.

Tracking Your Progress

Lindenwoods Chiropractic provides a pre- and post- measurement of how your progress is going. We want to help you feel better and monitor your progress so we can see how you’re doing. We’ll be able to tell you what you need, what you don’t need, and what you need more of. We have a start time, end time and maintenance time for your chiropractic care.

“I’m not guessing about what I think you need because you and I can both see where you’ve been and where you’ve come and exactly what you need moving forward,” says Dr. Dan.

Spinal Correction Exercises

These exercises differ a bit depending on what each individual patient needs based on the curve that they have or don’t have in their spine. We work in a spinal correction model where we want to get your spine back to the most ideal position possible.

We work under the CBP umbrella based on what we find on the X-ray. We will teach you specific exercises to help change and remodel your spine to that position. Every three months we will check your posture and possibly take new X-ray so that we can monitor the results.

In black and white, patients can see for themselves how they’re progressing based on those changes. We also will change those stretches and exercises depending on what patients need.
